5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE

3D TRIMBLE EXPERT – UTS / GPS
“The shorter way to do many things is to only do one thing at a time”
I am Cameron, a skilled renewals engineer with over 5 years of experience specializing in 3D track alignment using Trimble technology. My most recent project involved 4 line relocation to allow HS2 to install foundations and piles at duddeston, installation of 3 S&C units, over 1500m of troughing, LOC bases, 2 UTXs, 1 Drivers walkway, 1 new signal gantry, Plain line CWR and Jointed track, chambers for E&P. At the same time training three junior engineers on the duddeston project.
And my previous project was an 2000-meter track re-alignment for the HS2 project, where I led the installation of UTX, troughing walkways, wing rails, breathers, and the transition from CEN56 to bullhead rails at tie-ins.
During this project, we utilized the GEDO trolley for surveying and tamping. After the original controls were removed by the HS2 project team, I was responsible for installing and traversing new controls. My team and I also employed GPS for precision dozing control, with installation carried out by NTC, followed by additional work using both amber trolleys and GEDO trolleys.
I am certified as a Level 1, 2, and 3 Stressing Engineer and have a Handback certification upto level 4.
Currently, I have taken a break from the railway infrastructure installation and do RTK drone surveys across the rail and civil infrastructures.
